Why isn't The Corps of Cadets over 4,000 Cadets strong?
The Corps of Cadets peaked in raw numbers in 1970. At that time, the Corps was about 15% of the student body. The raw number got close to the 1970 value in the 2010’s but has since retreated. Also, the percentage of the student body has declined dramatically to less than 3%.
